I loved Jas Hammonds’ novel WE DESERVE MONUMENTS, so my expectation were high going into the First Look. THIRSTY offers so much to be excited about in the first pages. Blake is a character I felt immediately drawn to and Hammonds sets us so much in this opening chapter. I found myself interested in seeing how this story will explore problematic drinking, relationships, sorority dynamics, and race. Hammonds writes such intelligent and compelling YA literature and I cannot wait to read the rest of THIRSTY!
