We meet Blair and her girlfriend in this excerpt. They are at a party and Blair has been drinking. She gets angry about a racist incident at work and the alcohol, and her girlfriend, kind of fuel her anger until she does something drastic. She wakes up the next morning regretting it because she fears she’ll be caught. But the night before she thought it would only help her chances to get into an exclusive society.
