Right from the top, thank you for the disclaimers. I had to prep and ready myself for the right headspace to read it. I appreciate it because sometimes I encounter something that really throws me off and makes me uncomfortable because I wasn't prepared for it and it still lingers with me. Now I can read it and appreciate the content knowing the themes that will come up.
The art is so pretty, and I love that it continues into the chapters. I think it is enchanting and adds to the tone of the character. I can feel her making choices with little thought that will pile up and end up overwhelming and destroying her. It's so interesting to dive straight into the action in the beginning of the book. I also think it was very intentional and artistic to place words in specific areas of the page. Adds to the artistry.
