I don't think I have seen many YA fiction about addiction, despite its prevalence in this age group. In this way, Jas Hammonds already scores points for exploring an oft neglected topic of alcoholism and peer pressure in the teen population. I am interested to see how this journey unfolds, and whether our protagonist gets the help that she needs.
