It was such a fast-paced read. It really was gripping from the first page. I will say I experienced a slight lull between the half way and 2/3 point, but I read the whole book in a three day span. When it picked back up... it picked up HARD.
The writing is strong, and all of the characters are compelling. They are all multilayered and complex. I genuinely cared about what happened to them. The heists in the story are well executed and highly entertaining with a plot twist that left me reeling. I can't believe I have to wait for the next book. I'm still super mad about it.
I would HIGHLY recommend this novel to YA readers across genres. It was a really entertaining and quick read. Can't wait to get my hands on book 2.
