So I first lost the book briefly, then I spilled water on it, but only warped it without completely ruining it. Bad luck leading to a later than meant review.
But, once I started reading - flew through it. Ross is a likeable character, ready to step out of the family shadow and make a life on her own terms.
I knew that there would be at least another book so I expected a cliffhanger. And. It. Was. A. Cliff. Haaaaanger.
Comparisons to Inheritance Games and Oceans 11 are fair. My only real complaint that I’m hoping for in the next book is more time to develop the heists. This one was more of a game and felt rushed…but that’s also the point of the plot in here.
Can’t wait to read more of this world. Also intrigued to know more about the movie deal she has. This would definitely work well as a tv/movie with the fast paced action and crew of characters to root for. 4/5
