Though I was initially hesitant, Thieves Gambit was truly an entertaining read with a degree of engagement that was simply due to the maturity presented in a relatable fashion for teens. Written fairly simply, this book is suitable for a younger audience, however there are some themes you can only understand and empathize with at an older age. Rosalyn is headstrong and capable, her independence unrelatable to most people in a sense of being fictitious, however still realistic enough to be admirable and entertaining. Her hard set values and views empower the audience to seek the best version of themselves, along with the ability to realize that pleasing others is not our only life purpose, a surprising fable alongside the narrative twists and turns. The world of thievery and deception is a concept romanticized enough to be mesmerizing and the combination of every trope from ballrooms and glamour to action and the nitty gritty of physical action, there's a little bit of every genre to appeal to a wide variety of audiences.
