Based on the First Look, Thieves' Gambit is a fast-paced and dynamic YA thriller. Heist novels are a lot of fun to read (and to booktalk) and I love the comparisons to The Inheritance Games, which has been one of the most popular books of the past few years (thanks #BookTok!). Kayvion Lewis does a great job of ratcheting up the stakes so that readers are invested in what happens to the characters. This will be a great choice for reluctant readers, and I love that this title brings some diversity to the heist genre!
