Just reading the excerpt of Thieves Gambit one can't help but get excited so there is little doubt that this book will be killer!! One of those that you can't help but read in one sitting and that you can't wait to get to the end but when it is over, only want to go back and re-experience the fun and adventure!

The cover is great- even with just two colors it draws you in, the design- perfect for what the words of the book convey. I love, love, love, how they were able to add the star in the middle of the cover. I hope it pops in print as it does on screen. Regardless if it does, I still think it would look attractive to the eye and to the buyer!

Compare anything to Ocean's Eleven and you will draw me in. While I didn't read The Inheritance Games yet, I wonder if it is like an older move I now have in my head, The Game? As it was an intense movie I am sure there are some comparisons to be made and I have never been more excited to do so. And, that the book is compared to Ocean's Eleven, there must be some planning involved, along the lines of what we saw in the movie. What fun!

And then there is the Survivor part of the book, choosing who to "con" and who to "keep on your team", as they did when they voted people off the island in the reality show. How hard that must be and will be, in the book, to have those in your inner circle, possibly, and then, have to use them to get what you want and then, get rid of them.

There are so many elements to Thieves Gambit that make the book sound so exciting to the reader so much so that in a store if I was to see the book and then read the excerpt, there is no way I could pass up the purchase. Unless that is that I didn't have the money. The only fear that I have with that theory though, that since I am so excited about the elements in the book, which is thievery, I may just end up walking out with it!

Has an author finally written a book that is so good that people may just take it? While that is great for the readers when it comes to the purse strings attached to the book, it may not be such a good idea.

But really, the book was so adventurous it was contagious, even in writing my first impression!
