“The Thieves’ Gambit” reads more like a movie thus far and seemingly takes on a life of its own. Even the cover reminds me of something from a retro cartoon! This novel seems like a fun, exciting read filled with loads of twists and turns. The first few chapters were action packed, from the stealing of the vase to the capture of Ross’s mom. There is definitely an interesting assortment of characters participating in the competition and I can’t wait to read on and find out more about each participant! I also can’t wait to find out if Ross is able to win the Thieves’ Gambit, rescue her mom, and go to the summer camp she’s interested in - I’m certainly rooting for her to succeed!
