"It’s a miracle that so many people get out of high school alive." What a first sentence! Wow, such a hook! Honestly it reminds me of the beginning of Stephanie Meyer's Midnight Sun where the first sentence was "This was the time of day when I most wished I were able to sleep. High school." This seems to be the theme of a lot of Young Adult books. There were about seventy pages in the First Look for They Wish They Were Us, and I can say that I am intrigued. No, I don't completely understand the concept yet, BUT I think I might give this a chance once I have read a few more reviews for it. I think that I want to hear some others opinions before I continue. I am so curious to see what happens next!
