With all of the stress I’ve been dealing with lately this book was exactly what I needed. Nothing like some high school drama and a who done it to take your mind off the chaos for a while. I liked the secret society and how it was set up. The friendship dynamics were really interesting. This was predictable, but I didn’t mind that I saw the ending coming. There was just something comforting about the formulaic storyline this book followed. So I can understand why this book gets mixed reviews. If you are looking for something new with twists and turns that you don’t see coming, this book won’t be for you. This book does have a ton of trigger warnings so I would look into them if you are interested in this book. Overall I’m glad I picked this book up on a whim because it was a guilty pleasure read that I needed. You should definitely go pick this one up!
