**Thank you BookishFirst for an ARC in exchange for my honest review**

This book is definitely good, but if you think it is great really depends on what expectations you had going into it. It is not a dark twisted mystery like I thought it was, it does have a twist at the end though. I was expecting it to be more intense but it wasn’t, so if that’s what you think you’re going to get then I would reassess if you want to read it. It was written well, but not great. It didn’t leave me shaken up and it wasn’t the kind of book that was still on my mind after a few days. Good, but not great.

Now let’s talk about the good. Jill Newman. She is exactly the kind of character that I love! She’s funny, smart, and is teetering between heroic and “sticking to the status quo” per say. I immediately fell in love with her and I feel like everyone will.

Overall if you’re looking for a dark twisted murder mystery that will leave you shook afterwards, then this book probably isn’t for you. However, if you’re in the mood for a cliquey highschool book, with a backset plot of murder and an amazing protagonist then this book will be perfect for you and I totally recommend it to you.
