The excerpt was really good, i usually don’t go for mystery but this excerpt has shown me there is more to the eye. I think the suspense this book creates is very well written and doesn't bore me to the point of spoiling it to myself. The plot is very creative and not like any other book I've seen. The way the author portrays Jill’s raw emotion and her determination to figure out who killed her best friend is amazingly well written. There are many time jumps from past to present, so you need to keep up with those. This book has taken me out of my comfort zone but in a good way. You really need to read this book and figure out all the mysteries in it. This is one of the first non fantasy books that have pulled me in and convinced me to keep reading after the first chapter. Even if you don't like mystery (like myself before) you should still read this book and find a new genre for yourself.
