This is a fast paced mystery novel about how popularity, relationships, and cliques can be deadly. Shaila Arnold was a stereotypical murdered girl. In the sense that she was killed be her boyfriend, but not everyone is convinced. Concerns that Shaila's killer is still out there are voiced three years later and the Players are not happy about it. The Players are Gold Coast Prep's secret society, even though everyone knows about it and very openly envies them. They believe that their friend and fellow secret society member Shaila was killed by Graham (another Player) and that all other concerns should be laid to rest. Who believes and who, and which horrors are actually important to Shaila's death...

I loved this book. 5/5 stars. It was a very well rounded mystery book. With relationships, secret society drama, and of course thrilling mysteries. I could barely put it down. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well written standalone mystery book.
