Upon reading that this book is a cross between Gossip Girls and One of Us is Lying I knew this was a book I would need in my life. I didn't even bother to read further than that in the synopsis. Instead, I clicked on the "Read the First Look" button.
I am happy to report that I was not disappointed with what I read. I was hooked from the first sentence. I found myself completely immersed in the world that Jessica Goldman has created.
I find myself wanting to learn more about the Players. And what does it mean when Jill, the main character states, "...like he knows our secrets, like he knows what happens to the Players. Everything we had to sacrifice. Everything we had to do to survive. Especially the girls."
This is certainly a book that I could see myself finishing in a single sitting and recommending to others.
