This story takes place on Long Island involving a private prep high school. Some students are members of the "Players," an elite group of students that have access to lots of perks to help make them most successful and popular. Freshman are scouted at senior parties and seniors decide which freshman get invited into the clique. This story is filled with teenage anxieties and the bonds of friendships. I like the characters for the most part. Many of them dealing with typical teenage drama. I like the underlying mystery of if Shaila was really murdered by Graham, the guy that was convicted. I would love to find out if Graham murdered Shaila or if the clique us responsible for her death.
