I wasn't sold on the description but wow, this book really delivered. I was really blown away by how quickly the setting and atmosphere was set. It differentiates itself quickly from the rest of the normal high school mystery by also including an underbelly to the school. It was also a breath of fresh air to follow a popular kid instead of the many loner protagonists that usually star in theses stories.
