The cover is evocative and nails the YA murder/thriller feeling. I am intrigued by the mystery presented, although I usually have a hard time connecting with YA stories that present teenage life as a series of drug abuse and drama. Jill is a sympathetic narrator and I'm curious to learn if there's more mystery to her than is currently presented. The other characters seem a bit shallow but I suspect their storylines will be more deeply explored as the plot continues to reveal itself.
