Being a former middle school teacher, I’ve read a lot of YA books over the years and liked many of them. In They Wish They Were Us , the author sets up the situation well with the type of school and type of young people who populated that school. At many schools there are cliques, and the Players are an interesting group of spoiled young people. The situation of Shaila’s death, Graham’s accusal , and now his sister Rachel’s text reaching out to Jill will make for an interesting story.
