The cover design seems a little cheesy, and reminds me of a very similar series for middle grade about popular kids. The second they started casually talking about hazing and hinting at the horrible things they've done and made others do, I was out. Just not interested in reading about people doing terrible things to each other. I'm mildly interested in the murder mystery aspect, but overall I feel like there's not much new here that would make it worth it for me to read.
