Well, I can definitely feel the Gossip Girl - Pretty Little Liar vibes, both of those series which I've read, and enjoyed.. but to an extent. I was always sucked in by the first book, and then the next, but then well it would fall flat for me. It just ended up being unrealistic situations and drama nonstop. It was tiring. How much drama can happen in one high school to the same group of kids? This book seems to be going down that same rabbit hole.
It's well written with your typical teenage characters. From the first impression, there isn't much depth to any of them yet, but that could change throughout the book.
I think the cover is great. You can come up with all kinds of imaginary storylines before even reading the synopsis from just that cover alone
