It's expected, but it's what you want

I didn't want to like this book and didn't add it to my TBR for a reason, but of course I read the excerpt and now of course I want to read the whole book. The whole murderous teenagers with lots of secrets thing has been done before, but it's a trope because it works. There's just something about the heady aura of a prep school, with the flaunted wealth and the constant need to look perfect that does it for me every time.

So I'll be reading this one for sure.
