For starters, I love the cover, which is what enticed me to try a first look. I like the mixture of darkness and humor, and I am intrigued by the storyline. There is an air of mystery, but it seems like a quick read, and one that I will find entertaining. I find the main character appealing from the first page. I like an appealing main character. I am not sure if this is considered a YA book, since it centers around high schoolers, but that doesn't scare me away. I am interested to read the rest, to see where it is going.
