The prologue drew me in immediately with the obvious foreshadowing of a teenage death without going into details. The tone delivers the easy to read, fast pace that I look for in YA books. I also love the cover and would be drawn to pick this up... it conveys teenage friendship with the plaid and the necklaces and excitement and mystery with the broken necklace and blood. It’s a great cover!
