Deja Vu and a bit of nostalgia, too....

Players. Undies. Rich Kids. Scholarship Students. Memorializing a lost classmate on day one of Senior Year. Status and Stress. These themes take me right back to a decade ago in such a similar environment. Private School stress and status. Wow, I did not expect to be triggered by this first read but I honestly want to see where the story goes. My experience in a similar group of young people in an enclave that worshipped one who wasn't blameless in his too-early death. The ripples that come from the boulders thrown into the middle of every lake and tributary. I am ready to read the full novel and challenge both young adults and parents to read it, too.
