This book is a murder mystery, set in a picturesque beach town, and takes place at an elite prep school?? That checks off all the boxes of a good book for me! I find myself already wanting to know more about Jill and the secrets behind her seemingly perfect life. The cover draws you in and is fitting for the story. I like that I didn't immediately notice a slightly macabre detail of the cover until I looked at it more closely.
