I do find the cover attractive and wanted to read this because it’s been recommended by some book clubs I follow. However, after reading the initial excerpt, it seems very similar to many other popular-teen murder-mysteries that I’ve encountered. Undoubtedly there will be some twist related to the murder, since we already know who “supposedly” did it. I am someone that likes to finish what I start, especially books, so my curiosity is piqued, but I don’t have very high hopes that this will be a book I really love. It seems hard to surprise me with mystery books these days, but I’ll stay open til I find one that does.
