My first impression of this upcoming novel is that this is the perfect time for murder mysteries that have cases being questioned by a young female character. The central character,, Jill Newman, parallels Pippa Fitz Amobi in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder except whereas Pippa actively pursued without hints, Jill's curiosity and clues being sent to her bring her into this complex case. I'm excited!
