Ooh, this already makes me nervous. The prologue was so ominous. Normally, I wouldn't even attempt to try out a psychological thriller, but my enjoyment of YA lit had me curious. In this first impression, my first thought was that the writing was compelling right out of the gate. It didn't come across as too dark, but that's probably just the way it lures the reader in. ;-)
