I have not read the authors other book BUT I bought it as soon as I finished this one! She is an amazing author who knows how to grab you by the shoulders as you read and yank you into the world she has created herself. For myself, wanting to be the best of the best in high school at the sports I was into, Volleyball and Basketball, this brought back so many memories. Both good and bad so I also understand the drive to win so that you can get a full ride scholarship. Sometimes, people will do whatever it takes to win.
