This book was decent. The sister dynamics were great to read about and it was really fast paced. I liked the short chapters and I flew through most of the book but I didn’t really enjoy it. It was good and I could see how others enjoyed it, but it wasn’t what I would personally like. There was too much talk of cross country, which could be appealing to some but I’m not interested in that. I thought it was good how the author addressed females in sports and competition and how much athletes go through. There was also a good amount of diversity. I couldn’t really connect to the characters but that might have been because I couldn’t connect to the story as a whole. The story took a little too long to get going and the plot twists were kind of predictable. Overall, there were definitely pros but also cons. I’d say read it if you think you could relate to the characters because it’s definitely a character driven book.
