This was a great mystery. The author kept me guessing throughout the story. I was never completely sure who the killer(s) was. Just when I thought I knew who the killer was, something would happen to make me suspect someone else. There were plenty of clues that made you wonder if it was someone else. I was always guessing. The characters were well developed and both likable and hateable at the same time. For the most part, the characters were realistically portrayed in the book. Goodman wrote them in a way that you could actually believe what was happening happened. So many times authors go so over the top that you just can't believe what you are reading. In Goodman's books, you become attached to the characters and you become involved in the story. Jessica Goodman is one of my favorite YA authors. As a Middle School Librarian, she is one author I often recommend to my patrons. I have read most of her books and I eagerly anticipate her next book.
