I loved how the first paragraph of the book already seems to set the tone. Two sisters that are rivals, brought together by a disappearance. Each chapter alternating the protagonist as the narrator which I think is brilliant.
The cover was the first thing to catch my eye. Amazing that a tennis shoe with splatters of blood follows the story's description perfectly.
