It’s been a while since I was in the world of high school cross country running, but the first chapters of this book threw me right back to that past. But, I must say, this story seems to have a lot more mystery/suspense to it than my cross country years did. Can’t wait to read more about Stella and Ellie, their competitive natures, and what happens with Mila (and what happened with past cross country runners’ disappearances/deaths as well, for that matter).
