After reading the entire First Impression, I was not hooked. All of the drama seems petty and shallow (literally any and most high school problems) and there was no sense of danger from the small town murderer that got away. Also, I'm sad that the sisters aren't that close because they have to compete against each other instead of working together. I hope their relationship gets better. I know there will be more secrets to reveal since the story makes so many references to Stella fighting someone for an unknown reason, Ellie thinking the teacher looks like a doctor she saw secretly, there was a murderer that never got caught, etc. but the story is making too many references and not enough is revealed so I am not interested in reading on.
