Ellie and Stella are both competitive cross country runners both trying to achieve scholarships for the college of their choice. Ellie seems to be in the right track for this though as the book opens with Stella at a ‘track camp’ which is code for an anger management mental health program. Now she is back home, and not only is her sister her competition but Mila has moved into town and she is one of the top five cross country competitors in the state.
Besides the girls, the town itself is shrouded in mystery as some of the runners have disappeared from their town and the kidnapper/murderer has not yet been caught. Also, Last August something ‘happened’ that involved Stella and her coach and we don’t yet know those details either!
Seems like there are many twists and turns to come and secrets to be revealed! Feels like fun!
