I enjoyed this author’s previous book and have been looking forward to this one. So, I knew I’d pick it to use my points on since it’s already on my the list. Ellie and Stella are sisters, teenagers, close in age. Both are great at running and you can tell that there’s a lot of competition between the sisters. One is trying to rebuild her reputation to be more appealing to colleges after an incident that made her look bad, one has stayed at home for the summer running and dealing with boy dramas. There’s also an interesting backstory about a series of murders that took place in this seemingly idyllic town ten years earlier.
