The blood on the cover is intriguing and sets the stage for a darker mystery. I like the sisters who live together as dual narrators giving us two perspectives on what has happened. The foreshadowing with the cold case is a bit heavy handed for my taste, but then again high school is inherently dramatic so it fits this story.
