I am not into sports of any kind, so at first, I thought this was going to be something I couldn't get into, but honestly, it really captured my attention. The Steckler sisters are incredible at Cross Country but they each have their own issues/secrets that leave me wanting more! Not to mention, the town has had several murders that are still unsolved. The synopsis let me know that Mila ends up going missing and I want to keep reading!! Mila and Ellie become friends but Mila's a real threat to Stella and with Stella's earlier "issue" that was some sort of outburst that resulted in someone getting hurt, you have to wonder if she has something to do with it, or has the murderer returned.
