I liked the beginning of this one. I don't usually read YA, but I thought this one had a solid start. I remember this author's other book being featured on BookishFirst and I wasn't as gripped by it - I thought it was a little slow to start, although I only read the first impression not the full novel - so this one felt like a definite improvement to me.
