The cover is stunning. There's something about a shiny black cover with words written in read that beg to be looked at and read. Amd the title: anything that talks about being deadly or prophesized is my kind of book.
These Deadly Prophecies started so strong- sorcery, futures and of course prophesies. I liked the character Soloman. I thought it was amusing how he played with Tabatha in relation to his death...
On to the mystery itself. I'm intrigued. Not just by the fantasy element but the murderous element. Who did it? Why? Etc.? I have to know.
I liked the start of learning the friendship between Tabitha and Callum as well as the ongoing friendship between Felix. This offered the something something I also look for when I read.
This book was a nice refreshing difference from what I generally read..It offered death and mystery in a way that I generally don't read.
