I don't typically read many thrillers, let alone YA thrillers, but this cover grabbes my attention! And the mention if seances and wizardy made me realize this wasn't just your typical YA thriller. I read this beauty in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of it When she signed on to apprentice under a sorcerer, Tabitha never thought she'd be Nancy Drew to Callum's Joe Hardy to solve her masters murder. But here we are. The "squishy wizard" and master sorcerers son are teaming up to solve the murder foretold by his very own prophecy. A twisty, YA thriller full of magic, a seance, and murder will keep you on your toes until the very last chapter. I can't wait to read more from this author! Witty one liners and cute nicknames made me giggle throughout the entire book. The mystery was a fun one too and kept me guessing until the very end. All in all, a great read!
