Tabitha is apprenticing under the infamous fortune teller Sorcerer Solomon. One day, as they are practicing, he predicts his death. Tabitha doesn't believe it's going to happen so soon until it does. Now, she's a suspect in Sorcerer Solomon's death. To prove her innocence, she must follow Solomon's last wish and work with his youngest son Callum to find the real murderer and help prove not only her innocence but also Callum's. As Tabatha and Callum look into all the members of Callum's family that could've killed Callum's father, Tabitha can't help wonder how much she can really trust Callum.

These Deadly Prophecies is a fun, fast-paced YA murder mystery that's full of sorcerers, magic, and a dash of romance. The FMC Tabitha is thrown together with the MMC Callum to help solve the murder of Callum's dad. Unfortunately, they only have one vague clue about who the murderer is, and it points to a member of Callum's family. As Tabitha and Callum work together to solve the murder, your head is left spinning with so many possible suspects, so many clues, and so many red herrings. I really enjoyed the writing style of this book. It was written in first-person pov, and Tabitha is telling us the story of what happened after the fact. I highly recommend this if fantasy murder mysteries that constantly keep you guessing are books that you enjoy.
