Not your typical YA, a fantasy murder mystery!

I usually prefer fantasy stories as full fantasy, down to a fantasy world, but I really enjoy how this story takes place in modern times, with a fantasy twist of magic and sorcerers. This book definitely combines my two favorite genres: fantasy and murder mystery. I'm intrigued with the mystery, who killed Sorcerer Solomon, and what did magic have to do with it. It's even more intriguing that Sorcerer Solomon knew his death was coming, but only gave a vague riddle to describe the circumstances of his death. I look forward to solving this mystery!
