I live for YA fantasy, it's my all time favorite genre - so I was ecstatic to see this pop up at a bookishfirst raffle! I love magic and mysteries and dark fantasy, and this seems to be the whole vibe of the book with a little murder mystery unique twist. The writing style in this first look is very prose-filled and full of tragic irony, and I adore it. I really hope I get the chance to read this book!
