Didn't know what to expect going into this, but I fell in love with the writing, and the main character. I love how in just a handful of pages, the author establishes the bond Tabatha has with her teacher, and when he's killed, even though Tabatha knows it's coming and you the reader knows as well, it feels completely real when she starts crying. Completely convinced me I needed to read this book.
