Comparing this one to Knives Out immediately drew me in, but then reading the description and seeing that it's about a sorcerer's apprentice trying to solve a murder sold it for me; I need to read this book. There's mystery, there's intrigue, and based on the first look, there's also humor. This feels like the kind of book you curl up with and get lost in for hours.
