You had me at "for fans of Knives Out and The Inheritance Games." And the really fun plot is a plus. I love it when book combine genres and ideas and magic and murder sound like so much fun and something that isn't really done in YA and it's ashamed because it sounds so cool. But I also love the narrative. I liked the main character from the beginning and I want to see where this story goes.
