There is a Door in this Darkness

The cover of the book is interesting, first time I saw it I thought it might be a mystery of some sort but seems it's a teen story of grief and adjusting to present day circumstances. Confused as to the ages of the characters, it reads extremely young and doesn't quite fit imo. Not sure how many kids will be interested in not only a covid centered story but a political one as well, my nineteen year old said absolutely not.
